About JAZZ ETC.

Greetings:
JAZZ ETC. was formed in 1973. The initial mailing list came from the Jazz and Folk Club, an in-house mail order operation of Prestige Records. At inception its mail order service consisted of a sale list and an auction list. At one point (1974-1977) JAZZ ETC. had a retail component. Sales lists were discontinued in 1986. Since 1986 JAZZ ETC. has conducted auctions in the Spring and Fall of each year. In recent years, much of our business has been on consignment.

In 2008, we begin a new venture with the creation of our website: jazzetc.net. Our intent is to maintain a full fledged website devoted to jazz and blues music. This will include reviews, commentary and a Q&A segment.

If this is your first encounter with JAZZ ETC., welcome aboard. If you are one of our long standing customers, we hope you will appreciate this new endeavor. Either way, your comments are welcome.
